From the 17th, 11 public services such as passport reissuance applications, Book Connection services, and lost item reports, which were previously only available on public websites or apps, will also be accessible through frequently used private apps. The Digital Platform Government Committee and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety have opened 11 services with high public usage and private sector demand to the private sector.


KB Kookmin Bank implements pre-verification of photo information, which is the most common reason for passport application rejections, to reduce the rejection rate and provides an easy-to-understand progress guide at a glance.


Naver offers the Book Connection service for borrowing books from public libraries by linking it with the offline identity verification service based on certificates, such as access cards.


Woori Bank, in collaboration with the Military Manpower Administration, provides customized military service applications such as military service examination applications and reserve forces mobilization training notifications through the digital wallet service Wonder Wallet, and also offers a convenient lost item reporting service.


Wello provides tailored guidance on national and local government policies for youth through the youth policy platform project and offers a student loan debtor reporting service.


Kakao Mobility offers a map-based charger inconvenience reporting feature linked to the electric vehicle charging service provided in the Kakao T and Kakao Navi apps.


Shinhan Bank provides reservations for the Korea Forest Service’s Forest e-Rang and the National Institute of Ecology through the SOL Bank app, and Shinhan Card offers convenient lost item reporting and inquiry services through the SOL Pay app.


Kakao Pay provides easy registration, withdrawal, and modification functions for Do Not Call (telephone solicitation refusal) through the Kakao Pay app.


Meanwhile, on the 17th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will hold a demonstration event and a public experience booth at Gimpo International Airport, attended by Ko Jin, Chairman of the Digital Platform Government Committee, Lee Sang-min, Minister of the Interior and Safety, service-related agencies, and participating companies to announce the launch of the services.
