Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Summer Jeju Forum to be Held Next Month 17-20

Over 600 Business Leaders and Government Officials Participate
Including Choi Sang-mok, Choi Tae-won, and Choi Soo-yeon

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 17th that it will hold the Jeju Forum at the Shilla Hotel in Jeju from the 17th to the 20th of next month.

The Jeju Forum is the largest annual summer forum in the economic sector hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1974. This year marks its 47th edition. It was not held during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, about 600 business leaders including 최태원, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and 최수연, CEO of Naver, as well as government officials will participate. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance 최상목, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy 안덕근, and Minister of Science and ICT 이종호 will each introduce policy directions for the Korean economy, industry, and science and technology to leap forward in this era of great transformation.

At the 'Management Talk Show,' Chairman 최태원, KAIST Graduate School of AI Dean 정송, and Naver CEO 최수연 will engage in an in-depth discussion on the theme "Challenges and Future Vision of Our Companies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)." Additionally, speakers include 박웅현, Head of Organizational Culture Research at TBWA Korea; 김선희, Vice Chairman of Maeil Dairies; 김이을, CEO of satellite export company Satrec Initiative; 이교구, CEO of AI audio innovation company Supertone; 조용헌, Distinguished Professor at Konkuk University; and film director 김태용.

On the third day of the event, the 19th, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Council (ERT) will conduct a coastal cleanup activity together with the environmental campaign platform 'Gapuljiu.'
