Backpacker announced on the 17th that the handmade platform ‘Idus’ will celebrate its 10th anniversary by holding a discount event and unveiling various new policies.
The discount event ‘Idus Day,’ held until the end of this month, offers carefully selected popular works by category at discounts of up to 86%. Customers who purchase over 100,000 KRW will be entered into a draw to receive 10,000 points, and additional points will be given through a daily attendance event. New customers will also receive a coupon pack worth 15,000 KRW consisting of three coupons.
To mark its 10th anniversary, Idus has introduced a full free shipping policy and reduced the seller commission rate from the previous 22% to below 15%. It also announced the paid membership program d+ (dplus), which offers customers unlimited 5% discounts per purchase and monthly 4,000 KRW discount coupons. Fifty percent of dplus’s revenue will be used to support various activities aimed at revitalizing intangible cultural heritage transmission and developing the craft industry.
