LabGenomics announced on the 17th that it has signed a supply contract for the oral microbiome test "Bioralcare" with Denhouse Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Clinic (hereinafter Denhouse Dental Clinic).
Under this contract, all patients receiving procedures or surgeries at Denhouse Dental Clinic will be provided with data that enables pre- and post-operative management and monitoring, including the oral microbiome test.
The company stated, "We have structured the service with test items specialized in 'oral microbiome testing,' which is closely related to dental procedures and surgeries. It can even screen for the incidence of diabetes, greatly aiding patient health management, and we expect high user satisfaction."
Denhouse Dental Clinic, led by Chief Director Kwon Kyunghwan, focuses on complex surgeries such as refractory bone diseases and temporomandibular joint disorders. It is a hospital specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery based on a big data-driven artificial intelligence diagnostic system. Director Kwon has over 30 years of experience and extensive surgical expertise.
A LabGenomics representative said, "With strengthened product competitiveness and active sales efforts, diversification of supply destinations is progressing rapidly. Additional supply contracts with dental hospitals are also under discussion, and providing the 'oral microbiome test' to all patients visiting Denhouse Dental Clinic is expected to contribute to performance growth."
Meanwhile, LabGenomics' oral microbiome test collects microorganisms in the oral cavity using a swab-type kit. The collected microorganisms are analyzed using next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based genetic analysis methods to extract patient data and provide solutions for various diseases.
