Daejeon City plans to complete the archiving of the documentation survey based on the in-depth research content of the academic forum.

No Gi-su, director of the Culture and Tourism Bureau, said, "Yuseong Hotel is more than just an accommodation facility; it is a symbolic building that holds memories of Daejeon citizens, including being designated as the first hot spring tourism special zone in Korea in 1994 and as the Daejeon athletes' hotel for the 1988 Seoul Olympics." He added, "This academic forum will not only raise interest in Yuseong Hot Springs but also provide an opportunity to newly recognize the value of Daejeon's modern and contemporary architectural heritage."
