Damage Reports from Various Locations Including Buan, Gimje, and Jeongeup
Nearly 600 cases of damage have been reported due to the magnitude 4.8 earthquake that occurred on the 12th in Haengan-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk. The total amount of damage exceeded 100 million won.

As of 5 a.m. on the 16th, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced that 591 earthquake damage reports had been received within the province. By region, Buan accounted for 455 cases, Gimje 48, Jeongeup 34, Gunsan 16, Gochang 15, Jeonju 9, Iksan 6, Wanju 5, and Sunchang 3.
By facility type, there were 408 cases involving houses, 17 in apartment complexes, 41 in warehouses, 21 in public facilities, 20 in schools, and 43 in commercial and other facilities. This includes 6 cases of damage to national heritage sites.
The total damage amount entered into the National Disaster Management System (NDMS) by the cities and counties within the province is 127.8 million won (201 cases).
