On the 16th, the agency announced that it held a simulated practical drill on the 14th at the Pangyo Startup Campus, assuming a flood situation caused by heavy rain during the monsoon season. The drill was attended by Kang Seong-cheon, the head of the agency, along with safety and facility managers.
During the drill, the agency broadcasted a disaster safety announcement assuming a flood situation, then installed a post-type floodgate, and sequentially inspected the drainage condition of the nearby Botdeul Park, the stormwater treatment facility at the entrance of the Startup Campus underground parking lot, and the operation status of drainage pumps.
Kang Seong-cheon, head of the agency, emphasized, "Through continuous safety management activities, we will steadily enhance our response capabilities not only to natural disasters but also to various disaster situations. We will prioritize the safety of visitors and employees and devote ourselves to creating a safe working environment."
Meanwhile, the agency has been striving to create a safe and healthy workplace, achieving three consecutive years of accident-free and disaster-free records.
