Rolls-Royce Crashes into Bentley... Drunk Driver Is Boss of Violent Gang Beomseobangpa

On the 14th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant for Na Mo (59). On the evening of the 25th of last month, around 8 p.m., he was driving a Rolls-Royce while heavily intoxicated and hit a Bentley parked for valet parking on a road in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, then fled the scene. As a result of the accident, the Bentley was pushed, injuring a valet parking employee in his 50s who was standing nearby. At the time of the accident, Na's blood alcohol concentration was found to be at the license cancellation level (0.08% or higher).

Immediately after the accident, Na raised his voice to the owner of the damaged vehicle, saying, "Do you know who I am? Just say my full name and people will know." When the police arrived, he fled the scene but was caught about 10 minutes later nearby. During the investigation, the police discovered that Na was a senior advisor of the Beomseobangpa, one of the three major domestic violent organizations. The Beomseobangpa is a violent organization founded in the 1980s by Kim Tae-chon.

In September 2009, the Beomseobangpa stormed the filming set of the drama "IRIS" and collectively assaulted the production staff. This incident drew attention as it was triggered by a conflict between actors Lee Byung-hun and Kang Byung-kyu. At that time, only some of the gangsters received fines, and the case was closed, but the recent police investigation confirmed that about ten people were involved systematically.

In November of the same year, they mobilized 150 members in Gangnam, Seoul, to confront a Busan-based violent organization, and earlier in August, they entered a church in Gimje, Jeonbuk, and assaulted worshippers with fire extinguishers. They wielded violence across the country.

After it became known that Na was designated as a successor by Kim, he was kidnapped and beaten by the deputy leader of a rival organization, the "Gukje PJ-pa," in front of a coffee shop in Gangnam-gu in February 2013, one month after Kim's death.
