Namseoul University and Army Unit 3585 Sign Agreement on 'Military Drone Education'

Namseoul University announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement for 'military drone education' with the Army's 3585th Unit.

Namseoul University announced on the 14th that it has signed a 'Military Drone Education' business agreement with the Army's 3585th Unit.

At the signing ceremony, about 10 officials from both organizations attended, including Namseoul University’s Park Hyung-geun, Vice Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation, Choo Jong-ho, Director of the Drone Education Center, and Kim Jeong-hwan, Battalion Commander of the 2nd Battalion, Army 3585th Unit.

Through this agreement, both organizations promised to strengthen the exchange of technology and knowledge related to education so that drones can be applied to military operations and training.

To this end, Namseoul University’s Drone Education Center plans to support increasing military utilization by providing exhibition drone operation and maintenance, applied technology, and educational facilities.

Director Choo Jong-ho said, “We are pleased that this agreement enables close cooperation between the military and academia to promote mutual development,” adding, “We will continue to expand cooperation in various fields.”
