On the 13th (local time), the Ministry and the Organization announced that they held 'Korea Drama Travel, A Step Towards Korea 2024 in Nagoya' at the Nitera Japan Special Industrial Citizens Hall in Nagoya, Japan.

Various programs were held, including a Korea tourism talk show with Ninewoo, the lead actor of the drama 'Marry Me Now,' which was very popular in Japan, an original soundtrack (OST) performance played with traditional Korean instruments, and a K-drama photo zone.

Ninewoo engaged with an audience of about 2,000 people, sharing impressions of filming locations and regions visited on the KBS2 variety show '2 Days & 1 Night,' focusing on memorable places and foods, promoting the charm of Korea.

The Organization gave priority to participants who had visited Korea or planned to travel to Korea this year. There were 12,000 applicants, resulting in a competition rate of 6 to 1, and 2,000 participants met the priority selection criteria.

Kim Taeyoon, head of the Korea Tourism Organization's Osaka office, said, "The Chubu region of Japan, including Nagoya, accounts for about 17% of the total population and is a key market for attracting Korean tourists. Especially, with the 4th Korean Wave boom reigniting interest in K-culture, we plan to continuously promote various projects to lead this high interest and demand to actual visits to Korea."

The Organization, in collaboration with Nagoya TV's Korean Wave specialty program, has planned a special travel package targeting the summer vacation season, which has been on sale since the 6th. From the end of this month, they will also launch a campaign offering discounts on air tickets to Korea in cooperation with Nagoya Chubu Centrair Airport.
