‘Namsan Park’ is a natural urban neighborhood park located at 274 Namsan-dong, developed with an investment of over 30 billion KRW from 2012 to 2013.

Covering an area of 174,323㎡, it features two parking lots with 122 spaces, an outdoor art exhibition hall, a rock garden, a maze garden, a lawn plaza, and landscaping facilities, as well as an outdoor stage and sports facilities, creating a nature-friendly space where citizens can relax comfortably.

In particular, the park’s walking trails and resting areas are illuminated with nighttime landscape lighting that will decorate the romantic night sea, making it a new night view attraction for citizens and tourists alike.

About 200 people, including Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong of Yeosu, Chairman Kim Young-gyu of the Yeosu City Council, local political figures, and citizens, attended the completion ceremony, which began with a progress report followed by commendations for contributors.

Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong of Yeosu said, “Among the many tourist facilities concentrated in the original downtown area, Namsan Park is expected not only to be a place where citizens can enjoy culture and arts while resting but also to become a new landmark of Yeosu.”
