The informant reported, "Recently, I encountered a woman practicing golf on a lawn near the Songaksan trail in Jeju. She kept hitting golf balls on the grass and ignored my protests." After seeing her continue to hit balls despite being told to stop, the informant reported the woman to the police. The informant explained, "The woman only stopped practicing golf after the police arrived at the scene." Earlier, around April, a man practicing golf was also spotted at Toseong in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The Toseong in Pungnap-dong, Seoul, is Historic Site No. 11, designated as a national cultural asset in 1963.

Additionally, in February of this year, a man was seen playing golf on private land near an elementary school in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, drawing public criticism. Last year, footage surfaced of a man practicing golf in an apartment underground parking lot, and in 2021, a man was seen practicing swings toward the sea at a beach. Notably, this man reportedly hit actual golf balls despite the presence of beachgoers.
