The Industry's First Executive of the Venture Business Association

Kwon Seong-taek, CEO of the table order company TOrder, has been appointed as the new vice chairman of the Venture Business Association.

On the 14th, TOrder announced that CEO Kwon was unanimously appointed as a new executive at the 2nd regular board meeting of the Venture Business Association. This is the first time an executive from the table order industry has been appointed to the Venture Business Association. The association has about 18,000 member companies.


Last month, TOrder closed the first round of its Series B funding worth 30 billion KRW, recognizing a corporate value in the 300 billion KRW range. TOrder plans to launch an AI evaluation service exclusively for offline stores in the future, providing data such as store and menu evaluations.


CEO Kwon said, "I feel a great sense of responsibility as I have been appointed vice chairman at an important time for the development of venture businesses," adding, "As a company representing the food service industry, including the table order sector, I will do my best to contribute to revitalizing the venture ecosystem."
