Signing of MOU to Promote S2B Usage
Enhancing Transparency and Fairness in Private School Facility Project Expenses
"Committed to Improving Transparency and Convenience in Contracting Tasks"
The Korea Teachers' Credit Union and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's Education Facilities Management Headquarters signed a "Mutual Cooperation Agreement to Promote the Use of S2B for Enhancing Transparency and Fairness in the Execution of Private School Facility Project Expenses" on the 13th.
Through this agreement, the Credit Union will actively support system assistance such as providing a local vendor search function related to facility work for institutions directly under the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and schools within the jurisdiction, as well as S2B training sessions for private school administrative officers.
Lee Sang-mok, S2B Business Representative, stated, “We will continue to expand the cooperation system with education-related organizations to improve transparency and convenience in contract work.”
S2B is a designated information processing device announced by the Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, used by all public institutions subject to the Local Contract Act for the manufacturing, purchasing of goods, and bidding for construction and services.
The Korea Teachers' Credit Union has signed agreements to promote the use of S2B with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education and 14 education support offices nationwide. In January last year, it officially opened the ‘Local Contract Platform S2B’ for local governments, enhancing its status as a specialized procurement system for private contracts.
