From Precious Birth to Comfortable Old Age: Integrated Guide to 142 Projects in 6 Sectors
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam has published and distributed the "2024 Hamyang County Life Cycle Support Status" guidebook, which summarizes the various welfare benefits available by age group for this year.
This year's life cycle support projects cover a total of 142 programs in six categories: ▲Infants and toddlers (32) ▲Children and adolescents (19) ▲Youth (32) ▲Middle-aged adults (11) ▲Seniors (18) ▲All age groups (30).
The guidebook includes all welfare benefits for each generation, ranging from county-led initiatives such as childbirth incentives, infertility diagnosis fees, Dream Voucher, and support for young return-to-farmers to customized care services for middle-aged and senior citizens, such as implant support for those aged 60-64 and shingles vaccinations for those aged 65 and over, addressing issues from low birth rates and population decline to elderly care.
The guidebook, which provides detailed contact information for each project, is available at the county office's civil service center, town and township offices, health centers, and the education support office. It can also be accessed on the county website (Welfare Information > Health and Welfare Information Search).
A county official stated, "We will continue to provide administrative support so that more residents can receive a wider range of benefits. We will do our best to ensure that all generations can enjoy a happy life."
