Kyungbok University Hosts 'Oral Health Experience Event' for Namyangju Residents and Infants

The Department of Dental Hygiene at Kyungbok University is conducting various programs related to dental health for residents of the Namyangju area and infants and young children in celebration of Oral Health Day.

Kyungbok University conducted an 'Oral Health Experience Program' for residents of Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.

The Department of Dental Hygiene at Kyungbok University recently announced on the 12th that it held an oral health experience program event in collaboration with the Pungyang Public Health Center in Namyangju, targeting local children and residents.

Held ahead of Oral Health Day on June 9, the event featured various programs such as oral health quizzes, tooth brushing education, making tooth models, and fluoride experiments for local residents and kindergarten children.

Kwon Soon-bok, head of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Kyungbok University, stated, "Through this event held in celebration of Oral Health Day, students were able to educate local kindergarten children and residents on proper oral knowledge and care methods, fostering pride in their major and taking a step closer to becoming oral health professionals responsible for promoting the oral health of the public."
