Guro-gu, Recruiting Students for AI+X (Convergence) Academy Training

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) is recruiting students for the ‘AI+X (Convergence) Academy’ until the 18th to nurture talent reflecting the demands of the local industry.

As part of the ‘Regional Intelligent Innovation Talent Development Project’ jointly promoted with Soongsil University to help job seekers and company employees strengthen their digital capabilities, Guro-gu operates the AI+X (Convergence) Academy.

The academy consists of ▲ basics and practice of AI ▲ learning and creating autonomous driving models using AI ▲ proposing and implementing ideas for AI projects, along with special lectures by CEOs and experts from AI-related companies on industry trends and employment trends.

The education will be held free of charge at Dongyang Mirae University, a local university, every Thursday and Friday from 2 PM to 5 PM from the 19th of this month to August 23, to ensure accessibility for Guro-gu residents.

Priority selection is given to Guro-gu residents and IT majors, and anyone who is a Seoul citizen or employed in Seoul and is ▲ seeking retraining ▲ seeking employment ▲ planning to start a business can participate.

Those wishing to enroll can apply by the 18th of this month at Guro-gu Office or the AI Convergence Academy website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to Soongsil University AI Convergence Research Institute.
