Providing Customized Counseling for Citizens Suffering from Financial Deterioration
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province has opened the 'Hwaseong City Financial Welfare Counseling Support Center' to assist citizens facing financial difficulties.
On the 11th, Hwaseong City held the opening ceremony of the 'Hwaseong City Financial Welfare Counseling Support Center' in the main auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Hwaseong City Southern Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. The center aims to provide practical self-reliance support through customized financial welfare counseling and services for citizens suffering from deteriorating financial conditions, and it is operated under consignment by the Hwaseong City Welfare Foundation.

Previously, to alleviate the difficulties of vulnerable groups and help economic recovery, the city enacted the 'Ordinance on Financial Welfare Counseling Support in Hwaseong City' in October last year and has been preparing to operate the center.
The center does not limit the various problems arising from debt issues to financial matters but provides integrated financial welfare counseling through a welfare-oriented approach. The center is staffed with one director and two counselors and offers consultations from Monday to Friday every week.
Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "We will provide integrated welfare support services to citizens going through difficult times due to malignant debt and give them hope for tomorrow," adding, "We ask for your interest and support so that the center can transform the lives of Hwaseong citizens into hope."
