On the 11th, the Park Seri Hope Foundation announced that it had filed a complaint with the Daejeon Yuseong Police Station last September against Park Seri's father, Park Joon-cheol, on charges of forgery of private documents. It was also reported that the police recently forwarded the case to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment. A lawyer representing the foundation explained, "Park’s father received a proposal to participate from a company establishing an international golf school and secretly made and used the foundation’s corporate seal," adding, "The establishing company submitted related documents to administrative agencies, but later we found out that the seal was forged and filed a complaint."

The Park Seri Hope Foundation also posted on its website, "Coach Park Seri has no plans or intentions to establish or attract an international golf school or Park Seri International School (including golf academies and all locations nationwide such as Taean and Saemangeum)," and stated, "We are preparing all possible legal responses regarding the promotional activities and will do our best to prevent innocent victims from suffering due to false and exaggerated advertisements."

On the same day, the foundation added, "The Park Seri Hope Foundation is a non-profit foundation that does not pursue profit and, according to its articles of incorporation, cannot establish or operate foreign or international schools," emphasizing, "Therefore, the Park Seri Hope Foundation has never made any plans or efforts to establish an international golf school and has no plans to do so in the future."

The foundation stated, "Regarding this matter, we formally requested an investigation into illegal activities through the board of directors to the investigative authorities. The police investigation has been completed, and the case has been forwarded to the prosecution for ongoing investigation." A prosecution official also said that the investigation is currently underway but declined to provide further details.

Coach Park, who is known to have first learned golf from her father Park Joon-cheol, is regarded as a legend of Korean women's golf. From the 1990s through the 2010s, she competed at the highest level on both Korean and American stages and has been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
