Desires of Noble Parents... 'Sky Castle' Japanese Version to Be Released

This is the first collaborative project between SLL and TV Asahi, who pledged mutual cooperation in content business last month. Park Jun-seo, head of production at SLL, stated, "Starting with this remake, we will continuously plan, develop, and produce competitive works for the global market."

'Sky Castle' is a drama that highlights a community where the top 0.1% of South Korea reside. It delves into the desperate desires of mothers from prestigious families. It aired on JTBC in November 2018 and was a hit, achieving a peak viewership rating of 23.8%.

One of the main themes is the invisible war for the university entrance exam. The Japanese version changes the setting to the high school examination process, reflecting the reality where parental involvement or the difficulty of exams is more challenging than university admissions.

Han Seo-jin, portrayed by Yeom Jeong-ah, will be played by Matsushita Nao, who starred in popular Japanese dramas such as 'Gegege no Yome' and 'Get Ready.' Lee Soo-im, played by Lee Tae-ran, will be portrayed by Kimura Fumino, known for her stable performances in dramas like '7-nin no Hisho' and 'Mother Game.' Additionally, Higashi Manami, Takahashi Merijun, and Koyuki will appear, adding tension and depth to the drama.
