Providing Special Discounts and Free Content Every Month
Google Play announced on the 11th that it will launch its monthly subscription service, 'Google Play Pass,' in Korea.
Google Play Pass is a subscription service that allows users to enjoy over 1,000 carefully selected paid apps and games for free, without ads in ad-supported apps, through a monthly payment of 6,500 KRW.
When activating Google Play Pass, all paid and ad-supported apps and games included in the service will be ad-free, and users can access all content without additional costs. Additionally, users can enjoy richer benefits such as in-game purchase discounts and special item battle passes. Developers can expect effects such as increased game exposure and new user acquisition through Google Play Pass.
Google Play Pass is available for 6,500 KRW per month or 58,500 KRW per year. Benefits can be shared with up to five family members through the Family Content Library. Various games and apps covered by Google Play Pass are updated monthly and can be found in the 'Google Play Pass' category on the Play Store.
