Dobong-gu Publishes 18-Page Guidebook for Single-Person Households
Covers 4 Areas Including Social Isolation, Economy, and Health with 9 Projects

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has published a lifestyle guidebook for single-person households. The booklet, consisting of 18 pages, contains essential programs that single-person households should know to live independently.
An official from the district stated, “The booklet was made in a size of 12cm width and 20cm height so that it can be conveniently viewed anytime and anywhere. Additionally, a PDF file has been uploaded on the district’s website to allow access via mobile phones and other devices.”
The booklet includes a total of 9 major programs across 4 categories: ▲Social Isolation & Economy ▲Health ▲Safety ▲Housing.
First, in the Social Isolation & Economy category, the booklet introduces the ‘Single-Person Household Living Supplies Support Project,’ which rents household items such as bedding vacuum cleaners and dehumidifiers, and the ‘Smart Care System’ project that provides smart technology-based care for households at risk of social isolation.
In the Health category, it guides the Seoul City Hospital Safe Companion Service and the youth social dining project ‘Cheongchun Forest.’ The Safety category explains the Seoul City Ansim-i App and the Seoul City Single-Person Household Safety Equipment Support Project. Lastly, the Housing category covers the Jeonse Deposit Return Guarantee Insurance Premium Support Project, customized safe contract assistance services for housing-vulnerable groups, and housing management services.
The latter part of the booklet contains QR codes that provide information on 8 useful public-private regional cooperation organizations and 5 community-based welfare centers.
Any single-person household in need of the booklet can receive it free of charge at their nearest community service center or Single-Person Household Support Center.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “We ask for the interest of single-person households in this booklet, which makes it easy to check support projects for single-person households. We will continue to do our best to ensure that single-person households can live without shortage within the community.”
