The local road No. 345, connecting Cheonsong-dong in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do to Sinnam-ri in Buknae-myeon, recently completed expansion and paving construction and has been opened to traffic.
Gyeonggi-do announced on the 11th that Local Road No. 345, which connects major tourist attractions such as Yeoju Sinreuksa Temple and Moga Museum, was expanded from the existing two lanes in both directions to four lanes in both directions with an investment of 29 billion KRW.
In particular, through this construction, the steep downhill slope section of 2.48 km from Cheonsong-dong, Yeoju-si to Sinnam-ri, Buknae-myeon was eased. Additionally, pedestrian and bicycle paths were established.
Yu Byeong-su, head of the Road Construction Division at the Gyeonggi-do Construction Headquarters, stated, "With this expansion project, the traffic flow on Local Road No. 345, which connects major tourist sites in Yeoju such as the World Biennale venue, Sinreuksa Temple, and Moga Museum, will become smoother. We expect it will also contribute to the economic development of the Yeoju area by creating a safer road environment."
