Gijang-gun Community Security Council, Health Checkups for Small Business Owners, etc.
Gijang-gun (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on the 10th that it held the 'Gijang Market Gi(氣) Up!' campaign at the Gijang Market public parking lot on the 7th, in collaboration with the Community Social Security Council's Health and Medical Working Group (headed by An Eunchun).
This campaign was organized to support the health management of traditional market small business owners and local residents by providing various health check-ups, consultations, and health and medical information through the cooperation and partnership of health-related institutions.
On the day of the event, nine organizations including Gijang Hospital, Gijang-gun Public Health Center, National Health Insurance Gijang Branch, Gijang-gun Mental Health Welfare Center, and Dahappy General Social Welfare Center participated. They operated booths offering liver function (blood test) tests, oral examinations, health practice consultations, simple alcohol tests, and smoking cessation treatment promotions.
Additionally, Busan Gijang Nanumhoe, Gijang Maeum Nanumhoe, and the Gijang-eup Community Social Security Council joined the campaign, contributing to the spread of a community culture of living together. A total of 1,281 market merchants and local residents participated in various tests and medical consultations.
Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, said, "I believe this event is spreading a healthy and vibrant energy not only in the traditional market but throughout Gijang-gun," and added, "We will actively support the promotion of residents' health and regional coexistence."
The Health and Medical Practice Subcommittee of the Gijang County Community Security Council is conducting a campaign for the health management of market merchants.
