CUBox and RexGen announced on the 10th that they signed a business agreement on the 7th of this month to promote commercialization through mutual cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Through this agreement, CUBox will enhance product competitiveness by integrating its FRS (Face Recognition System) and LPR (License Plate Recognition) products with RexGen's RexWatchCity video analysis solution. They also plan to actively target overseas markets. CUBox began its full-scale entry into overseas markets last year and signed the agreement to promote business mainly in Southeast Asia.
They signed an agreement with the TRINAM Group, which is conducting various projects with Vietnamese public institutions. Based on this, they are actively promoting business to apply AI video recognition products in Vietnam. A CUBox representative stated that to gradually expand their presence as a global company, they plan to collaborate with RexGen on video analysis solutions applied with AI face recognition. Based on this, they plan to accelerate the expansion of global markets, including Vietnam.
Nam Woonsung, CEO of CUBox, said, “Through this business agreement, both companies will do their best to increase market share overseas based on AI systems equipped with the latest technologies they possess,” adding, “We will also work hard to enhance product and corporate brand awareness abroad by aggressively promoting local marketing with global partners.”
Oh Youngjun, CEO of RexGen, emphasized, “Through this agreement, RexGen will actively pursue new overseas markets together with CUBox, in addition to its existing overseas business operations,” and added, “By cooperating, both companies can create a win-win business model that enhances national competitiveness and generate great synergy effects.”
