BNK Gyeongnam Bank and Gimhae City Sign Win-Win Finance Agreement for Small Business Hope Sharing

Actively Supporting Local Small Businesses and Practicing Win-Win Finance

BNK Gyeongnam Bank signed a "Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreement for Small Business Owners" with Gimhae City on the 10th to practice mutually beneficial finance.

On this day, Bank President Ye Kyungtak visited City Hall and held a signing ceremony for the "Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreement for Small Business Owners" with Gimhae Mayor Hong Taeyong, signing the agreement.


The Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreement for Small Business Owners aims to swiftly provide funds to local small business owners struggling with decreased sales due to the economic downturn and to contribute to revitalizing the local economy.


According to the agreement, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will provide a total of 3 billion KRW in credit loans to small business owners located in Gimhae City.


The support targets individual business owners in the area with an annual income of 40 million KRW or less, offering unsecured and non-guaranteed loans of up to 20 million KRW at low interest rates.


Prior to Gimhae City, BNK Gyeongnam Bank also entered into Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreements for Small Business Owners with Changwon Special City, Ulsan Metropolitan City, Yangsan City, Geoje City, Miryang City, and Hapcheon County.


Small business owners wishing to apply for credit loan support can inquire in advance and then visit a BNK Gyeongnam Bank branch located in Gimhae.


President Ye said, "I am aware that local small business owners are facing many difficulties due to the prolonged economic downturn, high interest rates, and high prices. I hope that the 3 billion KRW low-interest credit loan support will help alleviate some of the hardships for small business owners in urgent need of funds. In addition, we plan to actively support local small business owners by expanding the Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreement for Small Business Owners."


He added, "In addition to the funds provided through the Hope Sharing Win-Win Finance Business Agreement for Small Business Owners, we plan to expand the supply of guaranteed loan funds to 75 billion KRW this year by making a special contribution of 5 billion KRW to the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation. BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to strive to be a reliable support for local small business owners, including those in Gimhae."


Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 20 million KRW in sponsorship funds to the Gimhae City Welfare Foundation to ensure the successful hosting of the "2024 Gimhae Welfare Expo," which will be held at Surungwon (located on Bunseong-ro, Gimhae City) on October 4 and 5.
