Woori Financial Launches Overseas Travel Specialized 'Wibee Travel Check'... 5% Cashback Domestically and Abroad

Woori Financial Group announced on the 10th that it has launched the 'Wibee Travel Check Card,' a check card specialized for overseas travel.

The Wibee Travel Check Card is a product that offers various benefits such as currency exchange, payment, discounts, and rewards tailored to customers preparing for overseas travel. It comes with a basic 5% cashback for domestic and international use. Depending on the merchant category?domestic, international, shopping, food, daily life?and the previous month's usage amount, cashback per transaction ranges from 2,000 to 9,000 KRW, with a maximum monthly cashback limit of 30,000 KRW.

Additionally, this product provides benefits necessary for overseas travelers, including exemption from overseas payment fees, international brand fees, overseas ATM withdrawal fees, and free use of over 1,300 airport lounges worldwide twice a year.

Woori Financial also introduced the ‘Wibee Travel Foreign Currency Deposit’ linked to this product. Customers who subscribe to this product can exchange up to 10,000 USD per day and deposit up to 50,000 USD. They can hold 30 major currencies worldwide, including US Dollar (USD), Japanese Yen (JPY), and Euro (EUR), in their accounts without separate currency exchange fees.

In particular, US Dollar (USD) and Euro (EUR) deposits in the Wibee Travel Foreign Currency Deposit earn interest at approximately 2.0% and 1.5% per annum, respectively. Additionally, US Dollar (USD), Japanese Yen (JPY), and Euro (EUR) can be withdrawn as cash at Woori Bank branches, with a 50% discount on cash withdrawal fees.
