Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) is recruiting '2024 New Good Price Businesses' until December 27 this year.

The recruitment target is business operators running personal service industries such as restaurants or beauty salons in Seodaemun-gu, whose prices are lower than the average prices in the nearby commercial area. Applicants can download the application form from the district office website's public notice section, fill it out, and submit it by visiting the Seodaemun-gu Office Regional Economy Division or by email or fax.

The district conducts on-site inspections and evaluates eligibility based on set criteria such as price, hygiene and cleanliness, and public interest. Businesses designated as Good Price Businesses can attach a notification plaque in their stores and receive incentives such as customized product support, environmental improvements, and promotion through the district office website and social networking services (SNS).

In particular, through a business agreement between the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Naver, information on Good Price Businesses will be provided on Naver Maps within this month. When searching for 'Good Price Businesses' on Naver and Naver Maps, the relevant list will be included in the results, and the 'Good Price Business' certification mark will be displayed on the individual place pages to intuitively confirm the selected businesses.

Good Price Businesses, which contribute to local price stability through affordable prices and quality services, are designated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments. They must not have ▲ administrative sanctions within the last two years ▲ local tax arrears of three times or more and over 1 million KRW ▲ business suspension within the last year ▲ been in operation for less than six months ▲ or be part of franchises, etc.

Mayor Lee Seongheon said, “I thank the owners of the 46 Good Price Businesses in the district who strive for price stability despite difficult conditions, and I hope many small business owners will show interest and participate in this 2024 new recruitment.”
