On the 8th, a post titled "A (lodging app name) that lets you experience a haunted house for 160,000 won" was uploaded to an online community. The author, Mr. B, who stayed at a business hotel in Busan through the lodging app on the 7th and 8th, began by saying, "Two people paid 162,000 won for one night. The photos of the hotel interior posted on the app looked clean and well-organized."

However, Mr. B said he was immediately disappointed upon arriving at the actual hotel. The unclean state of the room was shocking. Mr. B said, "As soon as I opened the door, I thought 'This is not right,' so I immediately left and requested a refund. Do you think this room condition is worth 160,000 won for one night?" and attached photos of the hotel interior. In the photos posted by Mr. B, the threshold of the entrance door is worn and torn, revealing the wooden materials inside. The wallpaper by the head of the bed is yellowed due to people's sweat, liquids, and moisture, and one wall is covered with traces of mosquito corpses killed by previous guests.

Mr. B explained the situation at the time, saying, "When I told the owner, 'I absolutely cannot sleep here,' they changed the room for me," but "the new room was similar. It looked like bugs could jump out from somewhere at any moment. There was even a mark on the door that looked like someone had punched it with a fist."

Mr. B requested a refund from the A lodging app. However, the A lodging app responded, "According to internal regulations, same-day reservations cannot be refunded," and "Since each customer feels differently upon check-in, a refund is not possible for that reason alone." Mr. B criticized the company, saying, "They are a company that neither recognizes the condition of the accommodations they mediate nor cares about anything other than taking commissions."

Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "Even famous domestic business hotels don't charge that much," "How can that room be 160,000 won," "The fist mark would be scary even for an adult man," "Maybe the previous guest was so angry that they left the fist mark," and "The wallpaper being patched up is genuinely scary."
