New 2024 Monitor Models Unveiled at 'Summer Game Fest'
Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th that it showcased a large number of new 2024 monitor models at the North America's largest game show, 'Summer Game Fest,' held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, USA, on the 7th (local time).

At the Summer Game Fest opening live stream, Samsung Electronics introduced the 2024 gaming monitor 'Odyssey OLED G8.' They also held a series of 'Samsung Monitor One Launch Events' for attendees of the opening ceremony.
The Monitor One Launch Event invited North American IT and gaming media and creators to provide an opportunity to experience the new 2024 monitors for gaming, high resolution, and smart monitors all in one place.
The new 2024 gaming monitor models include ▲Odyssey OLED G8 with 4K UHD resolution (32-inch, 240Hz refresh rate) and ▲Odyssey OLED G6 with QHD resolution (27-inch, 360Hz refresh rate).
Both newly released Odyssey OLED models apply 'OLED Glare Free' technology, which significantly reduces light reflections from external lighting and sunlight to enhance gaming immersion. They also feature Samsung's proprietary technology 'Samsung OLED Safeguard+' to prevent burn-in phenomena.
On-site, attendees had the opportunity to be the first to directly play the upcoming release 'Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2' on the Odyssey OLED G8.
Participants of the Monitor One Launch Event experienced clearer and more vivid visuals through games applying 'HDR10+ GAMING' technology, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2. HDR10+ GAMING is a technology that automatically analyzes game content scenes and frames to provide an optimized HDR gaming environment on the monitor. A representative from CD Projekt Red Studio, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, said, "HDR10+ technology will change the landscape of the gaming industry."
Additionally, at the Monitor One Launch Event, Samsung exhibited new 2024 monitor models including the smart monitor M8 equipped with an AI processor providing content upscaling, and the high-resolution monitor ViewFinity S7 with enhanced connectivity and convenience features, presenting not only gaming but also entertainment functions and work convenience features of monitors.
