Pohang City to Host 2025 University Admission Fair with Participation from Over 40 Universities Nationwide Pohang City held the "2025 College Admission Fair" on the 8th at the Pohang Indoor Gymnasium for students and parents.

Celebrating its 8th year, the Pohang University Admission Fair was organized to provide students and parents with strategies to respond to rapidly changing college admission systems, addressing the information gap and anxiety about admissions compared to the Seoul metropolitan area, and to strengthen the region's educational competitiveness and foster outstanding talent.

This year's fair, which featured over 40 universities from across the country, offered a variety of programs such as university-specific counseling booths, professional admission consulting, personalized learning coaching, and special lectures on strategies for early admissions, providing valuable and diverse information to local students and parents.

The fair, tailored to the characteristics of the region, included one-on-one professional admission consulting for a comprehensive understanding of nationwide university early admission systems and personalized learning coaching based on individual tendencies. Advance registration closed within five days due to high demand.

In particular, a special lecture on "Analysis of 2025 University Early Admission Types and Strategies for Success" by Lim Seongho, CEO of Jongro Education, greatly helped students and parents resolve their questions about the admission process.

Mayor Lee Kangdeok stated, "I hope this University Admission Fair has helped alleviate questions and anxieties about the college admission process," adding, "We will continue to support our local students so they can use the excellent programs of the Pohang Career and College Admission Support Center to establish their own admission strategies and grow into outstanding talents representing our region."

Pohang City plans to hold a one-on-one customized university admission counseling camp with professional admission consultants for students at the Kumtree Center from August 31 to September 1, just before the early application deadline.
