Songpa-gu Urban Brand Tourism Souvenirs Season 2 Released... 'Cost-effective Items' Trending

Songpa-gu Urban Brand Tourism Souvenirs Season 2 Released... 'Cost-effective Items' Trending

Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that, thanks to the love of its residents, it has launched Season 2 of tourism souvenirs featuring the characters Haha and Hoho, part of the 8th term urban brand.


Last year, the district introduced a new urban brand (CI, BI, and characters) and released a total of 14 types of tourism souvenirs including eco bags, dolls, long umbrellas, grip tokens, Bluetooth speakers, and mugs. Their lively charm and cute appearance received very positive responses from residents and tourists alike.


This year’s Season 2 tourism souvenirs are planned as goods combining the latest trends and practicality, aiming to capture even MZ tourists who value 'cost-effectiveness.'


In particular, the ▲‘Haha·Hoho Keyring,’ designed for decorating bags?a trend popular among the MZ generation?and the ▲‘HahaHoho Neck Pillow Cushion,’ which can be used as a cushion and, when unzipped and flipped, as a neck pillow, are gaining popularity.


Additionally, the district is releasing a total of 7 items and 12 types of souvenirs, including ▲the summer essential ‘Songpa-gu Long Umbrella,’ ▲cost-effective short-sleeve polo shirts (black, white) made from cool materials, ▲‘HahaHoho Cup Lid,’ a great gift item alongside the existing mugs, ▲‘HahaHoho Layered Post-its’ offering fun variety, and ▲‘HahaHoho·CI Leather Charms.’


Moreover, word of mouth among residents praising the “reasonable price and good quality” has led to strong sales of the short-sleeve polo shirts, long umbrellas, and cup lids.


The newly released souvenirs are being sold at the Songpa Tourism Information Center located at Dongho of Seokchon Lake, with prices ranging from 3,000 to 30,000 KRW depending on the product. The Songpa Tourism Information Center operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.


Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, stated, “The newly launched tourism souvenirs are designed using the Songpa-gu urban brand, made to be practical and distinctive, and are expected to be very popular among tourists. Through these souvenirs, we hope tourists will feel closer to Songpa and that the Songpa-gu urban brand will be remembered for a long time.”
