Shinhan Bank Launches 'Ttaenggyeoyo Pay Account,' a Parking Account with Up to 3% Annual Interest

Shinhan Bank announced on the 5th that it has launched the ‘Shinhan Ttaenggyeoyo Pay Account’ to provide financial benefits to users of the win-win delivery application ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’.

The Ttaenggyeoyo Pay Account is a high-interest deposit and withdrawal account with a basic interest rate of 0.1% per annum and a preferential interest rate of 2.9 percentage points applied when transaction conditions are met, resulting in a maximum annual interest rate of 3.0%. Shinhan Bank simplified the conditions so that Ttaenggyeoyo users can easily receive preferential interest benefits.

The preferential interest conditions are ▲ registering an account with Ttaenggyeoyo Pay and placing at least one order per month ▲ registering a Shinhan Card linked to a Shinhan Bank payment account on Ttaenggyeoyo Pay and placing at least one order per month. Meeting at least one of these conditions qualifies for the preferential interest rate.

The Ttaenggyeoyo Pay Account can be opened by individuals aged 14 or older and individual business customers through ‘Shinhan SOL Bank’ and has been launched with a limit of 100,000 accounts. The preferential interest rate applies up to a balance limit of 1 million KRW.

A Shinhan Bank official said, “Following the ‘Ttaenggyeoyo Savings’ product, we have launched a dedicated deposit and withdrawal account to provide differentiated products to delivery app ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ users,” adding, “We will continue to strive to offer various financial benefits to Ttaenggyeoyo users in the future.”

To commemorate the launch of the Ttaenggyeoyo Pay Account, Shinhan Bank is holding an event until the end of the year where all customers who open this account as their first deposit and withdrawal account at Shinhan Bank will receive six ‘Ttaenggyeoyo 3,000 KRW coupons’ that can be used once a month.

Additionally, during June, all new customers will receive either a ‘Ttaenggyeoyo 5,000 KRW coupon’ or 1,000 My Shinhan Points as an extra benefit. Detailed information can be found on the Shinhan SOL Bank event page.
