Installation of 29 Units This Month at 5 Institutions
Asan City in Chungnam is providing support for the installation costs of ventilation equipment for long-term care institutions.
This project, aimed at preventing infectious diseases and protecting the health of residents by improving indoor air quality in long-term care institutions, will install a total of 29 units across five institutions, including three elderly care facilities and two home-based elderly welfare facilities.
The support amount is up to 1.79 million KRW per unit of equipment, with installation expected to be completed by the 30th of this month.
The support for ventilation equipment (air circulators) installation in long-term care institutions was first implemented last year, during which a total of 45 units were provided to nine long-term care institutions.
An official from Asan City stated, “Since long-term care institutions have a high concentration of elderly people, managing indoor air quality is especially important. We will do our best to provide a safer and more comfortable indoor environment through support for ventilation equipment installation.”
