Former Geochang County Sports Council Secretary-General Yoo Inhwan held a press conference at the Geochang County Office briefing room on the 4th, announcing his candidacy for the by-election of the Geochang County Sports Council president.
Yoo stated, "Having worked as a sportsman and handled practical affairs, I have decided to serve the Geochang County Sports Council based on my field experience and expertise."
Former Secretary General of Geochang County Sports Council, Inhwan Yoo, is holding a press conference to announce his intention to run for the position of county sports council president.
He said, "Due to the unfortunate incident involving the former president, the image of the Geochang County Sports Council has been tarnished and the president's seat is vacant, causing an overall crisis. I will restore the trust of the residents by normalizing the Sports Council as quickly as possible."
He also announced his pledges, saying, "It is a time when we need someone who can consider and implement the best ways to return sports welfare benefits to the residents and athletes of Geochang County."
Yoo presented his key pledges as follows: revitalizing elite and recreational sports, attracting the Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival and various competitions, securing the Sports Council's budget and finances, and hosting a friendship sports event among the four counties.
Yoo Inhwan previously served as president of the 79 Alumni Association, president of the Bodybuilding Association, president of the Football Association, president of the Tennis Association, and as a board member of the Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council.
