'The 1st Hydrogen Industry Promotion and Safety Technology Improvement Exchange Meeting' Held
President Park Kyung-guk of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation is speaking at the "1st Hydrogen Industry Promotion and Safety Technology Improvement Exchange Meeting" held on the 4th.
The Korea Gas Safety Corporation, together with the Hydrogen Convergence Alliance, held the "1st Hydrogen Industry Promotion and Safety Technology Enhancement Exchange Meeting" over two days on the 4th and 5th in Seoul.
Approximately 170 people attended the exchange meeting, including representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, five hydrogen-dedicated institutions designated under the Hydrogen Act, and 70 private hydrogen companies. A total of 16 presentations were made covering hydrogen safety policies and systems, as well as on-site safety technologies across the entire hydrogen industry cycle, including 'production-storage·transport-utilization.'
On the first day, a "Hydrogen Industry Regulatory Innovation Roundtable" was held to listen to and discuss field difficulties, and on the second day, a "Hydrogen Industry Five Dedicated Institutions Exchange and Cooperation Meeting" took place.
Park Kyung-guk, President of the Korea Gas Safety Corporation, stated, "As the only hydrogen safety-dedicated institution in the country, we will do our best to establish a mutual cooperation system with the government, dedicated institutions, and the hydrogen industry, and through continuous regulatory innovation, help South Korea leap forward as the world’s leading hydrogen industry nation."
