Taekwondo Class Held at Busan Toseong Elementary School
Lee Haewoo, the president of Dong-A University, has contributed his talents to the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education's learning-based Neulbom Program.
This talent donation program is a challenge aimed at spreading participation in the "Grade 1 Learning-Based Neulbom Program" and establishing it in the field. President Lee joined the initiative after being nominated by Heo Namsik, the president of Silla University.
On the 3rd, President Lee participated in a "Taekwondo Class" at Toseong Elementary School in Seo-gu, Busan. On this day, President Lee, along with Professors Lee Yongguk and Lee Sangho from the Department of Taekwondo and the Dong-A University Taekwondo Demonstration Team, introduced Taekwondo, demonstrated kicking and breaking techniques, led follow-along activities, and performed a demonstration for the children. They also presented school supplies to the children.
President Lee Haewoo said, "I hope that children, who are the leaders of the future, will strengthen their minds and bodies through Taekwondo and nurture their big dreams," and added, "I hope that the performance by the nationally renowned Dong-A University Taekwondo Demonstration Team provided a wonderful experience for the children."
President Lee nominated Jang Soonheung, the president of Busan University of Foreign Studies, as the next participant in the challenge.
