SK Hynix Opens Doors at Computex Exhibition... Theme is 'The Power of AI'

Exhibition Booth at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center

SK Hynix, along with leading global companies, began its exhibition at 'Computex 2024' on the morning of the 4th.

On the morning of the same day, SK Hynix set up an exhibition booth on the 4th floor of Hall 1 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan, welcoming investors and corporate officials. The booth was located near the lower right area of the zone where companies from countries other than Taiwan gathered. At this exhibition, which mainly features ICT and PC-related companies, SK Hynix focused on promoting its strong memory products. In particular, it is expected to showcase next-generation AI-related products such as Solid State Drives (SSD), High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), and Compute Express Link (CXL).

This is SK Hynix's first time participating in Computex. A company representative on site told Asia Economy, "With the recent significant increase in supply chain companies in Taiwan, Computex seems to have greatly expanded in scale this year. SK Hynix aims to explain its memory products, which have gained prominence in the artificial intelligence (AI) market, to visiting officials. That is why we chose 'Power of AI' as our promotional slogan." He also added, "The SK Hynix headquarters in Icheon is very interested in this exhibition."

The industry is paying close attention to whether SK Hynix can expand cooperation with local companies and broaden its customer base through this Computex participation. SK Hynix has been expanding its presence in the global market, supplying the 5th generation HBM, HBM3E, to Nvidia, a leader in the AI chip market. It has also established a technical collaboration with Taiwan's leading foundry company TSMC to jointly develop the 6th generation HBM, HBM4.
