Asan City Wins Excellence Award at Chungnam Province 'Local Tax Research Project Presentation Contest'

Presentation on the Topic of 'Premium Taxation Measures for Sale Rights'

Asan City announced on the 4th that it won the Excellence Award at the ‘2024 Chungcheongnam-do Local Tax Research Project Presentation Contest’ hosted by Chungnam Province.

The contest, attended by about 100 local tax officials from Chungnam Province and its cities and counties, featured presentations of research projects by the top six cities and counties that passed the first round of document screening, including Cheonan City, Gongju City, Boryeong City, Asan City, Nonsan City, and Buyeo County.

Jinhun Kim, an official from Asan City who presented at the contest, proposed measures to discover new tax sources under the theme ‘No More Evasion of Pre-sale Rights! Taxation Measures on Pre-sale Premiums.’

An official from Asan City stated, “We will continue to support research and provide training to strengthen the capabilities of local tax officials for the development of local tax administration.”
