Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is conducting the 'Realistic Parenting Project' for its employees.
The Realistic Parenting Project is a program that supports overcoming the increasingly serious low birthrate by providing parenting mentoring between senior and junior employees within the company, as well as customized child relationship consulting by external experts.
For in-house parenting mentoring, GH matches mentors and mentees among employees based on their children's age groups?expectant parents, infants, children, and adolescents?and supports regular mentoring activities.
GH also opens a parenting counseling center as part of an external expert parenting coaching program. The counseling center offers one-on-one customized consulting on parent psychology and child relationship interaction skills under the main themes of understanding, communication, and happiness.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "This Realistic Parenting Project was planned with the hope of providing practical help to employees raising children while working," adding, "Going forward, GH will continue to make various efforts and provide support to address the low birthrate issue through sincere consideration, and to grow into a company where a healthier work-family balance is possible."
