On the 3rd, Aekyung Industrial's labor and management held the '2024 Wage and Collective Agreement Ceremony' at Aekyung Industrial headquarters located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, attended by CEO Kim Sang-jun and Labor Union Chairman Kim Hyuk-jung.

This wage and collective agreement was concluded without negotiations as the labor union entrusted the wage negotiations to the company, uniting labor and management around the common goal of growth amid an uncertain business environment. This was possible thanks to the mutual trust built through sharing management information and discussing issues to secure the company's future competitiveness. It marks the 22nd consecutive year of no disputes since 2003.

At the agreement ceremony, Aekyung Industrial's labor and management also agreed on expanding employee welfare systems, continuing communication between labor and management, and fostering a good organizational culture.

Labor Union Chairman Kim Hyuk-jung said, “The Aekyung Industrial labor union decided to entrust negotiations without confrontation for the company's development and a win-win labor-management relationship,” adding, “I believe this result was possible because of the many efforts to openly discuss and understand the issues faced by both the company and the union.”

Aekyung Industrial CEO Kim Sang-jun said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the labor union for their magnanimous decision to entrust negotiations based on trust in the company,” and added, “We will continue to strive for a communal labor-management relationship, employment stability, and strengthening corporate competitiveness.”
