Fever Original Candlelight Concerts to Tour 10 Night Tourism Cities

Thousands of Candles and Familiar Movie OSTs, Disney Hits at Yongdusan Park Outdoor Stage, 8 PM on the 7th

Busan City, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization, Busan Tourism Organization, and the Night Tourism Specialized City Council, will host the 'Byeolbada Busan Candlelight Concert' on the outdoor stage next to the bell pavilion in Yongdusan Park at 8 PM on the 7th.

This event, now in its second year since its inception last year, is an original performance by 'Fever', a company specializing in candlelight concerts that illuminate countless candles in unique venues.

The concert will tour the ten cities selected as Night Tourism Specialized Cities by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Busan, Daejeon, Incheon, Gangneung, Gongju, Sangju, Yeosu, Jeonju, Jinju, and Tongyeong), being held sequentially in each location.

Fever is a Spanish company specializing in candlelight concerts. Departing from traditional classical venues, it holds performances in unique urban locations with historical and cultural significance, such as cathedrals, cruise ships, and small theaters, illuminating the space with countless candlelights. The concerts combine familiar classical music with pop, film scores, jazz, and other genres, providing a fresh classical experience.

This concert will feature the same program as Fever's original candlelight concerts, which are ticketed events worldwide. However, it is notable that all seats are free and entry is on a first-come, first-served basis without tickets.

During the approximately 65-minute performance, the string quartet 'Ensemble Tons', consisting of violin, viola, and cello, will present around ten beloved masterpieces familiar to the public.

The program includes twelve well-known pieces from a variety of genres, starting with the Frozen OST, followed by the Disney animation Aladdin OST, Scent of a Woman OST, Vivaldi's Summer 3rd Movement, and more.

After the performance, visitors can enjoy taking photos with thousands of candles and the bell pavilion of Yongdusan Park as a backdrop. Those who complete a satisfaction survey will receive an LED rose on a first-come, first-served basis, adding to the romantic atmosphere of the early summer night.

'Yongdusan Park', the venue for this concert, is a core area of the city's Night Tourism Specialized City initiative. Starting in July, various night-time contents such as the Yongdusan Park Night Popup and the Original Downtown Night Docent Tour will be held here.

Yongdusan Park has already become a new hotspot for MZ generation tourists through last year's operation of the Yongdusan Park Night Popup.

In particular, earlier this year, the park showcased a fantastic night view by expressing the diverse images of Busan through digital technologies such as media art and the metaverse.

Park Geunrok, Director of Tourism and MICE at the city, stated, "We have prepared a variety of Byeolbada Busan night tourism programs this year, following last year, for everyone to enjoy," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that domestic and international tourists visiting Busan can create special memories through the city's beautiful nightscape and diverse content."
