Eunpyeong-gu 'Local Creator Training Program' Participants Recruitment

Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it is recruiting participants for the ‘Local Creator’ program, which promotes local small business owners to revitalize the regional economy, until the 14th.

‘Local Creator’ is a compound word combining local, meaning the region, and creator, meaning a person who produces content. They play a role in discovering unique and valuable local stores and promoting commercial districts.

Eligibility includes residents of the Eunpyeong area or workers at workplaces located in Eunpyeong-gu who have experience in video editing or are active on blogs or Instagram, meeting certain criteria.

Applications can be submitted online by scanning the QR code on the promotional poster and filling out the application form. Applicants will be selected through a comprehensive review of their blog posts and visitor numbers, and selected candidates will be notified individually via text message.

The final selected creators will receive benefits such as content education and activity support funds necessary for promotional marketing. In particular, the education will be conducted over two weeks with renowned instructors to help participants acquire skills in content production and commercial district branding.

Creators who complete the education will visit local small business stores to create promotional content on blogs, Instagram, and other platforms. Additionally, the ‘Eundonggage (Eunpyeong Neighborhood Store)’ magazine will be published twice a year, in the first and second halves, targeting art interior business sites and the Yeonsinnae commercial district.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, “Through this project, I hope the local alley commercial districts will become widely known and contribute to the vitality of the commercial areas,” adding, “We will continue to promote various projects to revitalize the local economy.”
