On the 2nd (local time), at the 79th US Women's Open (total prize money $12 million) held at Lancaster Country Club (par 70, 6,583 yards) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, she secured a 3-stroke victory (4-under 276). This marks her second career win three years after becoming the youngest champion at 19 years, 11 months, and 17 days old in June 2021 at this tournament. The winner's prize money is $2.4 million (approximately 3.3 billion KRW). With this victory, she achieved the record for the youngest player to win twice in the history of this tournament. Saso was born to a Japanese father and a Filipino mother.

Although her fairway hit rate (61%, tied 34th) was lower, she targeted the greens effectively with short irons. Her putting was also impressive.
