Lotte Tour Development announced on the 3rd that the sales of Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort reached 41.053 billion KRW last month.
This surpassed the record sales of February, the highest ever, in just three months, marking the first time monthly sales exceeded 40 billion KRW. This figure combines the casino sector and the hotel sector (separately accounted for - Grand Hyatt Jeju).
In particular, the Dream Tower Casino, an exclusive casino for foreigners, drove the sales. The net sales of the casino sector (the amount after deducting agent commissions from total sales) reached 27.105 billion KRW last month, nearly 2.4 times higher than the same period last year.
Last month, the hotel sector sales increased by 31% from the previous month to 13.948 billion KRW.
A representative from Lotte Tour Development explained, "We enjoyed a significant boost during the Super Week period at the beginning of last month, and as the number of foreign customers from China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and others steadily increased, the synergy effect between the casino and hotel sectors began to truly shine."
