A man in his 30s arrested for wielding a weapon at his younger sibling during an argument

A man in his 30s who wielded a weapon against his younger brother during an argument was arrested by the police.

The Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 3rd that they have booked A (in his 30s) on suspicion of attempted murder.

A is accused of injuring his younger brother with a weapon at their home in Wolgye-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, around 11 a.m. the previous day.

It was investigated that A committed the crime by taking a weapon from inside the house during an argument with his younger brother.

B was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery. It was reported that his life is not in danger.

The police arrested A after a report from their parents and plan to apply for an arrest warrant, judging that there is a risk of flight.
