The main areas of cooperation include "financial support for the smooth growth and operation of women venture companies," "financial education programs and expert consultations," "joint hosting of academic events such as the World Women Venture Forum, seminars, and roundtable meetings," and "information exchange and business cooperation between the two organizations."
The first project, the cashback service, is a program that returns 1% of the loan execution amount (up to a maximum of 10 million KRW) when women venture companies receive guarantee-backed loans. Women venture companies affiliated with the Korea Women Venture Association are given priority. Support is provided only once upon submission of a membership confirmation letter. The cashback will be paid sequentially starting from the month following the month when one year has passed since the loan execution date, and the program will end early once the total cashback limit of 500 million KRW is fully exhausted.
Yoon Mi-ok, president of the Korea Women Venture Association, said, "We hope that this financial service will help, even if only a little, in funding innovation and scale-up for women venture companies," and added, "Since we have signed an agreement with the global company SC Group, we will also create follow-up programs to support women venture companies' entry into overseas markets."
