Starting this year, the mandatory disclosure requirement was expanded to companies with total assets of 500 billion KRW or more, resulting in 164 companies disclosing their Corporate Governance Reports for the first time. Additionally, five companies not subject to mandatory disclosure (Dongil Rubber Belt, Hansol Logistics, Hansol PNS, Hansol Home Deco, and HDC Labs) voluntarily submitted their Corporate Governance Reports.

An official from the Exchange stated, "We plan to conduct a focused review of the reports by August, concentrating on compliance with the guidelines, omissions, and errors in the disclosures, based on the key inspection points announced in February. For reports found to be insufficient, we will enhance disclosure accuracy through corporate explanations and requests for corrected disclosures. Companies that provide thorough and transparent governance status disclosures will be selected as excellent disclosure companies and awarded."

He added, "The scope of mandatory Corporate Governance Report disclosures will continue to expand, and by 2026, all companies listed on the KOSPI market will be required to submit these reports. Through this, we expect improvements in corporate governance transparency and the protection of shareholders' and investors' rights, leading to mid- to long-term enhancement of corporate value."
