Gwangju Bank announced on the 3rd that it has signed a business agreement with Jeonnam Development Corporation to revitalize the International Motor Racing Circuit.
Gwangju Bank donated 30 million won to support the development of the International Motor Racing Circuit, and agreed to mutually cooperate with Jeonnam Development Corporation to further activate the circuit and contribute to the development of the local economy.
Jang Chung-mo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, said, “We will join forces with Gwangju Bank to play a leading role in regional development by continuously expanding the base of motorsports and revitalizing the International Motor Racing Circuit.”
In response, Ko Byung-il, President of Gwangju Bank, said, “We expect the International Motor Racing Circuit to play a significant role in the development of domestic motorsports and the automotive industry, and hope it will grow into a cultural space loved as a public sports facility for local residents.” He added, “Going forward, Gwangju Bank will further strengthen the foundation of community-based win-win management that enables co-growth with the local community as the representative bank of Jeonnam and Gwangju.”
