Scheduled for Completion in November with a Scale of 125 Rooms
Joo Kyuil, the Mayor of Jinju, personally visited the construction site of the public parking lot along the Seonhaksan hiking trail to inspect the site, encourage the workers, and emphasize the importance of preventing safety accidents.

Staff from the local administrative welfare center and representatives of local residents participated in the site inspection. During the visit, Mayor Joo Kyuil listened to residents' opinions regarding the public parking lot, agreed to incorporate some of their suggestions into the construction, and instructed that improvements be made before the completion of the project.
The Seonhaksan Trail Public Parking Lot Construction Project is being carried out to alleviate the chronic parking shortage in the old downtown area, which has caused inconvenience for both trail users and nearby residents. With a total project cost of 3.8 billion KRW (1.1 billion KRW for construction and design, 2.7 billion KRW for compensation), the project will provide a 6,540㎡ area with 125 parking spaces, aiming for completion by November.
Mayor Joo Kyuil said, "Parking spaces are essential for all nearby residents, so please pay special attention to on-site safety until the very end and complete the project safely," addressing the workers at the site.
